The Map and the Disclaimer

SamNav is an independent index and navigation layer for Sam Altman's public blog.

I built it because I like reading the blog. That is the whole suspiciously sincere origin story. The posts are useful, interesting, and often worth revisiting. However, the site itself is minimal to the extreme. There is an archive, technically. There are posts. You can find things, eventually. SamNav just adds a small map.

It adds archive views, search, topic browsing, reading paths, related posts, metadata, and a Navigation Severity Score. The score is a joke, of course, but it points at something real: discoverability matters. Archives matter. Navigation is not garnish. The web is better when useful things are easier to find.

SamNav is not affiliated with Sam Altman, OpenAI, or the original blog. It does not republish full posts. Every post page points readers back to the original source.

Full text may be used locally by the indexing scripts to classify and summarize posts, but the public data only includes metadata, excerpts, summaries, and links.
